Track what your MCC membership is worth

You pay the subscription once a year and then walk into the 'G whenever you like, which makes it very easy to lose track of whether you're getting your money back. The Reserve turns that into a number. Tick the games you go to, and it adds up what those tickets would have cost you at the gate.

What it does

Four tabs. It works on a phone, because that's where you'll be when the fixture drops or someone texts asking if you're going.

Season

Know whether you're ahead

Either the membership has paid for itself this year or it hasn't, and this is the number that tells you which. Every game you tick is priced at what a non-member would have paid, and set against your subscription.

Finished seasons keep their own totals, so you're judging a full year rather than a fortnight.

A season, totalled up.
Fixture

Pick what's worth turning up to

Every game your membership gets you into, with a price against each, so a Thursday Shield day and a Preliminary Final aren't the same decision. Mark what you're going to and the season total moves with you.

Once a game has passed, the app asks whether you actually went. Only the ones you confirm count, so saying you'll go never quietly becomes having gone.

Mates

Sort out who you're going with

Deciding who to take is half of it. Add your mates once, with the club they barrack for and the level they hold, and every game tells you who you could bring.

Whoever's team is playing comes up first, anyone whose membership won't get them in is ruled out before you ask, and you can tick off who actually came.

Setup

Make the numbers yours

What a game is worth is your call. If a day of the Test is worth more than $80 to you, change it, and every game you've ever logged re-prices itself, past seasons included.

Same for your subscription. The app asks what you actually pay rather than assuming a rate, because yours depends on your category, your age and where you live.

Change a price, everything re-prices.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't know where you've been. You tick the games yourself, which takes a couple of seconds and means the app never needs anything from your membership account.
  • It holds no barcode and no membership number. A barcode is a live credential and none of the sums need one.
  • It doesn't sell you tickets, and it isn't connected to the Club in any way. For anything official, go to the MCC.
  • The gate prices are estimates, not quoted fares. They're a reasonable stand-in for what a non-member pays, and you can change any of them.
  • There's no paid tier and nothing to upgrade. If it's useful, there's a coffee link below.

Not sure your MCC membership is worth it?

Fair question, and one most members are guessing at. We've written up what the Club charges in 2026/27, what each category gets you into, and how many games at the 'G it takes before your subscription has paid for itself.

Why this exists

I love going to the football, and I wanted something that helped me get the full value out of my membership. That is all this is. It's free, it will stay free, and anyone who wants it is welcome to it.
