The Reserve is a free tool made by Wylliott Labs. It is not a business that runs on your data, and there is nothing clever going on behind it. This page says plainly what gets stored, where it sits, and who can read it.

What we store

Only what you type in. There is no account creation form beyond an email address, and nothing is collected in the background.

WhatWhy
Your email addressIt is how you sign in. We email you a link; there is no password to store.
Your name, club and membership levelTo work out what you can get into and what your membership is worth.
Your subscription amount and the ticket prices you setThe value maths — these are just numbers you choose.
Your mates: names, clubs and membership levelsTo show you who can actually get in on a given day.
Which days you marked off, and who came with youThe season tally.

What we don't store

Who can see it

Only you. Every row in the database is locked to the account that created it, enforced by the database itself rather than by application code that could have a bug in it. A different signed-in user querying your data gets nothing back. An unauthenticated request gets nothing back. This was tested rather than assumed.

Wylliott Labs staff — which is to say, the two people who run it — can technically reach the database through administrative access, as is true of anyone who operates a service. We don't read your data, and there is no product reason to.

Where it lives

The app itself is hosted by Cloudflare. Accounts and data are held in a Supabase database, currently hosted in Seoul, South Korea, which means your information is stored outside Australia. Sign-in emails are delivered by our email provider. A copy of your data is also kept in your own browser so the tool works quickly and keeps working if the network drops.

The page loads one thing from someone else's server: the typeface, from Google Fonts. That service will see your IP address, as it does on most of the web. Nothing about you or your membership is sent to it.

Your data is yours

We keep your data for as long as you have an account, and no longer.

Children

The Reserve is meant for adult members managing their own membership. It is not designed or marketed for children, and we do not knowingly hold data about them.

If this page changes

The date at the top moves. If a change actually matters — somewhere new for your data to live, a new third party — we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing this page.

Asking us something

Email hello@wylliott.com. A real person reads it.

The Reserve is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Melbourne Cricket Club. Fixture and membership access information is read from the club's own public pages and can be wrong or out of date. The club's arrangements always win — check with them before you rely on anything here.
